12x12 Baby Girl Album Pages 1&2

I have been asked by a lady to make some pages for her new baby girl's album. I am ecstatic. I have 2 boys so the pink cardstock tends to pile up a bit. I think I'll enjoy girly scrapping. Lots of bling, flowers, glitter, pink, pink, pink....

The first layout is a double titled Waiting For Baby. Great for photos of baby's room.

All cuts are from Cricut 'Baby Steps'. The letters were welded in CCR.

Papers are DCWV Baby Girl / Nana's Nursery.

The High Achiever layout was made using a 2.5 inch owl and 3 inch books from Create A Critter 2. The title is from When I Was A Kid and is 2.5 inches. The stars are 1 inch and 1.5 inches. The papers are Creative Memories Primary 'School Additions'.

The '50' layout was inspired by the Cricut Craft Room File 'Star Spangled'. The papers are all from DCWV's Bella Armoire stack.

Beehive Shaped Card

I'm learning to make shaped cards with Cricut Craft Room. I've been wanting to try it for a while but put it in the too hard basket. OMG!! Not too hard at all.

The beehive is cut at 5 inches and the little bees are 2.5 inches. Both cuts are from Create A Critter.

I wish I could take credit for this design but the truth is I found the original on Google Images over a month ago and I've no idea who to credit. I have seen loads similar but this particular card gave me the idea to use Peachy Keen stamps for the faces. So very cute.

This card is being sent to a very worthy recipient. Hopefully it brightens her day.

Lovin Life Layouts

OK. So technically this is a double page layout but I'm counting it as 2 layouts. They could be used separately.

Diamond shapes are cut using CCR cut file 'Daughter'. Butterflies are from 'The First Few Years' cart and are cut at 1 inch, 1.25 inches and 1.5 inches. Title is from 'When I Was A Kid' cartridge and is cut at 1.25 inches.

Papers used are from DCWV 'Bella Armoire' stack. Pin It

Making The Most of Freebies

I found this little Mini Book as the 'Freebie' of the week in my Cricut Craft Room. The cut is actually called The Love Mini Book but I did away with the hearts. All embellishments came with the cut file. Pin It

Going on an Egg Hunt?

All ready to be stuck down, but not glued yet. I thought I'd wait and see what photos I take on Sunday. I may need to turn this into a double layout. We have quite a morning planned!! Our little hunt has grown with lots of families now joining us. So much fun. Can't wait. Happy Easter!

Fiskars grass punch used for strip of grass. Creative Memories meadow punch for the butterflies. Tree  from Cricut Pooh & friends. All other cuts are from CAC2.

Tangerine & Bluebell

I was recently sent some samples of My Mind's Eye Tangerine & Bluebell and asked to have a little play with them. The colours are amazing and the products were so fun to use. I had only ever purchased MME 12 x 12 paper pads before, but I am now in love with their little 6 x 6 pads. I have since purchased several more. The coordinating brads and stickers are on my 'TO FIND' list as my local Warehouse Stationery has sold out!!

I only wish I had taken better photos before sending my projects off.

Happy Easter Rabbit!

I had a whole post about these 2 layouts typed out, including sizing etc and then accidentaly deleted it. Don't you hate it when that happens?

I love the Pooh & Friends cart. All the little accessories & icons that go with it are just so fun.

Scrapping without my Cricut... it can be done!!

I can scrapbook without my Cricut!!! Who knew? And I am pretty pleased with the results.

The first layout I used DCWV's Baby Girl Stack, American Crafts Thickers, Fiskars 'Threading Water' border punch and some circle punches for the flowers. So easy. So pretty (and so is my BFF... lol).

The second layout was made using Grace Taylor's 'Splish Splash' scrapbook kit, the 'Threading Water' punch and a circle punch. 2 words (in, the) had been previously cut on my Cricut and left over from an old project.

Funny, they took less time to put together too. The love affair with my Cricut may be over....

NOT!!!!!
